Packing well for Umrah or Hajj means striking a balance — bring enough to stay comfortable, but travel light enough to move easily through airports, hotels and crowded courtyards.
Documents & Money
- Passport, visa printout and flight tickets (plus photocopies stored separately)
- CNIC and passport-size photographs
- Saudi Riyals in cash, plus a debit/credit card
- Hotel booking confirmations and travel insurance papers
Clothing
- 2-3 sets of Ihram for men, plus an Ihram belt/pouch
- Loose, modest abayas for women in breathable fabric
- Comfortable, broken-in sandals — not new shoes
- A light jacket or shawl for air-conditioned mosque areas
Health & Essentials
- Unscented soap, shampoo and toiletries (no perfume while in Ihram)
- Personal medication, blister plasters and basic first-aid items
- A small prayer mat and pocket Dua booklet
- Mobile charger, power bank and a universal adapter
